Multimedia exhibition "Jadids. Letters to Turkestan" opened its doors in Tashkent City Mall.
The exhibition reveals the history of students from Turkestan, a group of whom were sent for study in Germany. The exhibition "Jadids. Letters to Turkestan" is designed to draw the attention of a wide audience to an important chapter in the history of Central Asia. Jadidism, as a progressive movement that originated here in the early twentieth century, played a key role in reforming the educational system of the region.
According to the press service of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari, in order to ensure a longer stay of foreign and local tourists in the historical cities of Uzbekistan, it is planned to shift the morning departure of high-speed electric trains names "Afrosiyob" by one hour.
