Day 1
Tashkent (No Meal)
  • Land at the airport of the capital of  Uzbekistan. After some formalities at customs, which you cannot avoid, you get to know our local partner who will show you the way and take you to the centrally located hotel

Day 2

  • 07:30 – 10:30 Breakfast at the hotel 

  • 11:00 City tour around Tashkent - the capital of Uzbekistan. However, despite its age (2200 years), it is a modern city, the economic and cultural center of our country. During the excursion, visit Khazrati Imam complex, which includes the Hazrati Imam Mosque, Muyi Muborak Madrasah (where the hair of the Prophet Muhammad and the original of the Qur’an of Usman (644-648) is kept), Barak Khan Madrasah, Namazgoh Mosque and the Mausoleum of Hazrati Imam Kaffal ash Shoshi.

  • Bargain at the oldest bazaar in Uzbekistan named Chorsu Bazaar, where you can buy traditional souvenirs and fruits

  • After lunch, visit the Monument of Courage and Independent Square. Walk along the Broadway Street where you may see paining gallery under the open sky. With this way, we reach to Amir Temur (Tamerlan) square – the heart of Tashkent. After that, go down into Tashkent metro and admire the most beautiful and poetic stations Alisher Navoi and Cosmonavtlar.

Day 3
Tashkent - Nukus - Khiva (B)
  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out 

  • Take a morning flight to Nukus city - the capital of Autonomy Republic of  Karakalpakistan.

  • 10:00 Visit the Museum named under Savitskiy. Most famous with the name of Louvre in the Sands. 

  • After lunch drive to the city– museum under the open sky - Khiva. But before we will go to the ruins of the ancient cities of Ayaz-Kala and Toprak-kala

  • Ayaz-kala dates back to the II century AD and was one of the largest fortresses of Ancient Khorezm. According to legend, the name of this fortress is associated with the name of the legendary slave warrior Ayaz. Ayaz is a hero of Central Asian Turkic folklore. 

  • Toprak-kala in the III century AD was the capital of the ancient state of Khorezm. This fortress was opened in 1938 and during archaeological excavations coins, fragments of assuaries (funeral vessels of Zoroastrians), as well as magnificent examples of artistic culture were found: finely crafted ceramics, wool, silk fabrics, gold jewelry and a necklace of 300 beads made of glass, paste, amber, coral, shells.

  • Reach Khiva in the evening.

Day 4
Khiva (B)
  • Breakfast at the hotel 

  • Today we have a fascinating tour. On the tour, visit a city in the city - Ichan - Qala, the old part of the city. In this part of Khiva there are various buildings (the oldest of which belong to the XIV century), such as fortifications, palaces, mosques, madrasas, mausoleums, minarets, caravanserais and even baths. Among the most famous monuments are the Kunya Ark, the old citadel, some of its parts belong to the V century, the Madrasah of 

  • Muhammad Amin Khan, the Kalta Minar minaret, the Tash Khauli Palace, the mausoleum of Pakhlvan Mahmud, as well as the minaret and the Islam-Khoja. 

  • And last, but not least: walk through the streets outside of Ichan Qala and visit the reception palace of the last Shah of Khorezm with the Harem and the park named Nurullaboy

Day 5
Khiva - Bukhara (B)
  • Breakfast at the hotel 

  • Free time for self-walking

  • 16:30 Transfer to the Railway Station

  • 17:20 Departure to Bukhara by the train to another place on the Silk Road. The imposing city walls date back to the time when the city was the center of a large central Asian empire. It is also a good way to get in touch with the people of the country during the train journey. Have a chat, share some food and discover their habits and сustoms.

  • 00:18 Arrival to Bukhara 

  • Meeting with the driver and drive to the hotel

Day 6
Bukhara (B, Bukharian tea and coffee)
  • Breakfast at the hotel 

  • 10:00 Today, the tour of Bukhara will start from Lyabi –havuz, where Madrasah and Khanaka Nadira Divan-Begi and Kukeldash madrasah are grouped around a large artificial reservoir. Then we will visit Magokki Attori Mosque, the madrasahs of Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, the Poi-Kalon ensemble, which is the central architectural complex of  Bukhara. The ensemble includes three buildings of the XII-XVI centuries: the Kalon Mosque, the Kalon minaret and the Mir-i-Arab madrasah, which is still an active madrasah of Uzbekistan. And the Ark Fortress, which is located on a bulk hill, the height of which in some places reaches 20 m.

  • On the way, we break stop for a degustation of  Bukharian tea and coffee with national sweets; relax in a cafe with colorful decorations

  • Visit the summer residence Sitor-i Mokhi Khosa - the palace of the last emir of Bukhara, which includes a white hall - the emir's reception room for ambassadors, several guesthouses and a detached Harem where wives and concubines lived.

Day 7
Bukhara (B)
  • Breakfast at the hotel 

  • Free time for self-explore and walking. Feel the atmosphere of calmness, talk to the wonderful people and visit handicraft shops

  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 8
Bukhara - Nuratau Mountains (B, L, D)
  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out the hotel

  • 09:00 continuing the tour of Bukhara. We visit the Ark Fortress, which is located on a bulk hill, the height of which in some places reaches 20 m.

  • 11:00 Departure from Bukhara to Nuratau Mountain Range. 

  • On the way to the city of Navoi, we will stop for lunch

  • Visit the one of the latest tree in the region in the village Majrun and by the evening arrive at the yurt camp, where the dinner will be waiting for us

  • Overnight at the yurt camp

Day 9
Nuratau Mountains - Samarkand (B, L)
  • Breakfast at the yurt camp

  • 08:00 Morning trekking tour to the nearby mountains. Before lunch, we have the opportunity have a walk in the local village and ride horses. 

  • Back to the Yurt camp to have a delicious lunch and a small rest before departure to Samarkand

  • 16:00 Departure to Samarkand. On the way have a small stop in Djizzakh city to try the famous Djizzakh samosa 

  • Arrival to Samarkand by the evening 

  • Check-in at the hotel 

  • Overnight in Samarkand

Day 10
Samarkand (B) 01/05/2024
  • Breakfast at the hotel 

  • 09:00 City tour of Samarkand. We visit Gur Emir Mausoleum (XIV-XV век), where Amir Temur (Tamerlan), the founder of great the founder of a huge empire in Central Asia and one of the most powerful states of the XIV century in the world, was buried. His spiritual teacher and some of his descendants also buried there. Then visit Registan Square, which is the symbol of the city and where Ulugbek Madrasah (XV century), Sherdor Madrasah (XVII century), Tilla-Qori Mosque (XVII century) are locate. Walk toward to Bibi Khanum Mosque and bargain at the famous Siab Bazaar

  • After lunch, we see the Ulugbek Observatory - one of the most outstanding buildings of  Samarkand, unfortunately not fully preserved to this day. Visit Shakhi Zinda Necropolis and admire the beautiful view of the evening Samarkand from the observation deck

  • Dinner at the restaurant 

  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 11
Samarkand - Shakhrisabz - Samarkand (B)
  • Breakfast at the hotel 

  • 08:00 Day trip to Shakhrisabz city - the native city of Amir Temur. Drive through the most beautiful pass of the Kitab Reserve, which was created in 1979 with the aim of protecting and systematically studying paleontological and stratigraphic objects representing natural scientific monuments of the geological history of the Earth, as well as popularizing the ideas of nature conservation.

  • 10:00 Admire the beauty of Ak-Sarai, the Dorut-Tilovat Memorial Complex ("Place of reading the Holy Quran"), the Dorus-Saodat Memorial Complex and the Kok-Gumbaz Mosque

  • Lunch in Shakhrisabz local restaurant 

  • Back to Samarkand. On the way visit the factory of handmade silk paper, where you participate in the production and observe the work of a master of oil extraction in an ancient way

  • Overnight at the homestay
