Sustainable Policy

Our sustainable development policy reflects our commitment to protecting Uzbekistan's natural and cultural heritage while promoting responsible tourism. Our commitment to sustainable practices and enriching society encourages us to share the magic of our country while preserving its precious heritage.

Environmental Responsibility
  • We strive to minimize the impact on the environment by supporting environmental protection measures, reducing waste and protecting biodiversity.
  • We evaluate the use of natural resources, especially energy, and look for ways to reduce their consumption:
    • All lighting devices have been replaced with energy-saving lighting.
    • We turn off the lights and equipment when they are not in use, set the equipment to power saving mode by default and try to minimize the use of the air conditioner.
    • We give preference to low-energy equipment when buying new products. For example, our laptops and printer have Energy Star certification.
  • We are implementing waste reduction methods in our offices and on excursions:
    • We have successfully implemented a “no printing” policy and refused to print unnecessary advertising materials, a double-sided printing or other paper saving modes are applied to necessary documents by default.
    • We do not have disposable plastic in the office (we use water dispensers, do not use disposable cutlery, dishes, etc.)
    • We use certified and biodegradable cleaning products for cleaning the office space.
    • We comply with national legislation on waste disposal, as well as separate materials that can be recycled, and organize their collection and proper disposal (waste paper and food waste).
    • We sort and do not throw batteries into a common waste tank.
  • We provide our guests with information on how they can reduce their environmental impact during their travels.
  • We do not invite partners and clients to participate in activities that harm humanity, fauna and flora, contribute to air and river pollution, or are socially unacceptable.
  • We do not allow the purchase of souvenirs containing endangered species of flora and fauna, any illegally acquired historical/archaeological artifacts, drugs or prohibited substances, and comply with local and international laws to prevent this.
  • Excursions and tours involving wild animals in captivity are not conducted, except for activities that are properly regulated and comply with local, national and international legislation.
  • We do not extract, consume, display or sell wildlife species, except in cases where this is part of a regulated activity that ensures their sustainable use in accordance with local, national and international legislation.
Public Engagement and Promotion of Cultural Heritage
  • We promote and respect the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan by interacting with local communities and emphasizing traditional customs. All our tours include visits to local communities, craft workshops and workshops with the participation of residents.
  • We prefer accommodation facilities that reflect the local culture and protect our cultural heritage.
  • We prioritize hiring local guides, drivers and service providers.
  • We regularly provide support to the Umid Nuri Foundation, which works with children with special needs.
  • We do not conduct visits to schools or kindergartens, as this may harm the local community. We actively participate in external forums and working groups that contribute to the sustainable development of tourism.
Sustainable Development Management and Legal Compliance
  • We commit to comply with all national laws, regulations and codes of practice.
  • All our employees enjoy freedom of employment and fair working conditions in accordance with national labor laws. We also comply with national minimum age requirements for employment.
  • We have first aid kits and an emergency plan in the office and during tours. We also periodically instruct and train employees on their roles, rights and responsibilities in the field of health and safety.
  • We establish honest and ethical relationships with all suppliers, ensuring proper pay and working conditions. We also ensure that our guides, tour guides and other employees working under contract have the necessary qualifications and receive regular training.
  • By working with local suppliers and partners, we ensure that most of the tourism revenue remains in Uzbekistan.
  • Our marketing process for customers is clear and straightforward. We provide comprehensive product information, including a sustainability statement, and provide services strictly in accordance with the contract and program.
  • We inform our tourists about eco-friendly alternatives regarding accommodation, excursions and transportation options, if any.
As a growing tour operator in Uzbekistan, we strive to develop sustainable tourism that provides long-term benefits for both the environment and the communities we work with.
